Brechin is located about a 30-minute drive North of Dundee, inland from Montrose, on the banks of the river South Esk.

Brechin offers a rich heritage to explore, featuring steam and diesel locomotives at the Caledonian Railway. This railway connects Victorian Brechin Station with Bridge of Dun. Or visit Aberlemno village, where you can learn about the Harley Davidson family's history at Netherton Cottage.

The Townhouse Museum, housed in an 18th-century building, narrates the story of Brechin and its inhabitants, once serving as a courthouse and jail.

For outdoor enthusiasts, Brechin Castle Centre is a must-visit. It boasts a 70-acre country park with a delightful play area, fairy trail, garden center, and restaurant.
