Irvine is a town located in North Ayrshire with excellent transportation links to Glasgow and the surrounding towns and villages in Ayrshire. One of the main attractions of the town is Irvine Beach, which stretches for miles along the coast towards Troon and offers breathtaking views over to Arran. Irvine Beach is very popular and has ample parking space and easy access from Irvine's train station.

There are plenty of exciting activities to do in Irvine, such as visiting the Scottish Maritime Museum, in a former shipyard building, where you can enjoy hands-on exhibitions. Eglington Country Park is another great spot to spend the day with miles of paths to explore and a great playpark for the kids.

Irvine has a rich history and was once a medieval Burgh. It was also the site of Scotland's 12th-century Military Capital and the former headquarters of the Lord High Constable of Scotland.

Golfers will find Irvine to be an excellent base from which to access some of the best courses in Ayrshire. The town has several golf courses nearby, such as Irvine Bogside in Irvine; also located close to other renowned courses like Glasgow Gailes, Dundonald Links, and Western Gailes.
