Live Golf Events in Scotland

What golf can you watch in Scotland in 2026. From July through to October, Scotland will host a series of live golf events on the European Tour, Ladies European Tour and Seniors Tour with some of the world's top male and female golfers.

The Genesis Scottish Open

The Renaissance Club, East Lothian

09 -12 July 2026

The Genesis Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club is a co-sanctioned event with the PGA Tour, attracting one of the best fields in golf outwith the Major Championships. Played the week before the Open Championship, The Genesis Scottish at the Renaissance Club is an excellent way for these top professionals to adapt to Links Golf. Who won the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open?

Chris Gotterup was the 2024 Scottish Open winner. Robert (Bob) MacIntyre, Scotland's very own, won the 2024 title at The Renaissance Club, birdieing his 18th hole in dramatic fashion and becoming the first home winner of the event in 25 years since Colin Montgomery won the title at Loch Lomond in 1999.

Yes! Rory McIlroy won the Scottish Open in 2023 at The Renaissance Club, famously birdieing the final two holes to edge out Bob MacIntyre by one stroke. It was a historic feat as he became the first to win the Open Championship, Irish Open, and Scottish Open.

Where is Dundonald Links?

Dundonald Links is situated in Gailes, North Ayrshire, on Scotland's famed Ayrshire golf coast, between the towns of Irvine and Troon.

It lies just over 30 miles south of Glasgow, making it easily accessible from central Scotland. The train line from Glasgow to Ayr passes by the edge of the 13th and 16th fairways.

Who Designed Dundonald Links

Designed by world-renowned golf architect Kyle Phillips. It opened in its current form in 2005, a tricky links course that has hosted both the men's Scottish Open and Ladies Scottish Open as well as Final Open Qualifying.
