Lochgilphead, located in Argyll, sits at the tip of Loch Gilp, a small offshoot of the larger Loch Fyne. You can reach Lochgilphead by taking the A83 from Inveraray or the A816 from Oban.

Lochgilphead is a convenient base for exploring the Kintyre Peninsula and offers various amenities. It's also close to the Crinan Canal, which provides a useful shortcut across the Kintyre Peninsula, and the fascinating archaeological sites of Kilmartin Glen.
