North Queensferry

North Queensferry is on the northern shore of the Firth of Forth and is located under the edge of the Forth Rail Bridge. It is a peaceful village with a maritime past, once a key crossing point between Edinburgh and the north of Scotland.

The village gets its name from Queen Margaret of Scotland, who established a ferry service in the 11th century to help pilgrims cross the Forth. Today, North Queensferry offers a quieter alternative to its southern neighbour, with spectacular views, historic landmarks, and easy transport links.
