With its picturesque stone cottages, stunning loch views and charming village atmosphere, it's easy to see why hundreds of thousands of visitors make the trip every year.

But before you visit, it's worth knowing everything about parking in Luss — because it can catch visitors out if you're not prepared, especially for parking as it gets busy on a sunny Scottish summer's day.

Where to Park in Luss

There are two main car parks serving Luss village,

Luss Estate Car Park (South) The main car park developed by Luss Estates holds around 250 vehicles and is the closest to the village centre, faerie trail and pier. This is the most popular option for visitors.

Luss Car Park (North) The council-owned north car park offers additional parking just outside the village centre.

Pricing varies depending on which car park you use. The main Luss car park (around 250 spaces) charges approximately £1.20 per hour, with parking free outside 9am-6pm. The Luss South car park charges £2.00 per hour with a maximum stay of one day. Both accept card payment

Important — parking in the village centre itself is reserved for residents and permit holders only. Do not park on village streets or you risk a fine.
